England managed to win only one match and score two goals in the group stage of this tournament. They have displayed an extremely static performance and stand out as one of the least productive teams. Coach Gareth Southgate has been the target of criticism, which is understandable given the team’s quality on paper and their performance on the field.

Slovakia did a great job getting out of their group, but I think it will be difficult for them to score against England, who have been playing with a defensive mindset. England may step up their game today and advance, but I don’t expect a high-scoring affair. England to win and under 3.5 total goals is the ideal choice.
