The Golden State Warriors will host the Charlotte Hornets in a matchup with some intriguing storylines. Steph Curry will face his hometown team and always loves to put on a show against the Hornets. Lamelo Ball will face the team the passed on him with the No. 2 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. The Hornets are coming off of an upset loss 113-110 to the Cleveland Cavaliers. I believe that the Hornets did not give their maximum effort in their previous game against the Cavs due to the fact they were looking ahead to this matchup against the Warriors. The Hornets are 3-1 ATS on the road this season and 2-0 ATS after a loss. The Warriors won the last meeting between these two teams 130-121 last season but the Hornets are playing with much more confidence this year and will want to put forth a better showing in this revenge game. The Warriors haven’t played since Saturday Oct 30th and could come out a bit sleepy against a free flowing Hornets squad. My play is Charlotte Hornets +6 (-110) for 1.1 units.
