Dan’s play was null and void yesterday with the absence of Trae Young (If you read the write-up, you’d understand). He’s at it again today.

Detroit Pistons -1.5:Â This is right out of the grossest bag of plays I could come up with, but I like the Pistons in this spot, today. Overall, Detroit has been quietly playing better the last week or so, and the growth of Cade Cunningham has a ton to do with that. In addition, Kelly Olynyk and Jerami Grant are due back for Detroit, giving the team a few veterans that aren’t terrible (sorry, Cory Joseph) to steady the boat when other teams go on runs and make smart basketball plays. Relying on the kids a little less is generally a good thing and you also get some defense back with those dudes, as well. Add on top that the Pelicans have been a wet turd without Brandon Ingram (he’s questionable but I’m guessing he waits 1 more game), and I think we have a spot to fire on, here. I like this play for a UNIT if Ingram sits and a QUARTER UNIT if he plays, so wait on the news and then make your move.
