The Pacers and Mavericks will meet for the second time this season with the Pacers winning the first matchup 106-93 in Indiana. Tonight’s game will be the Pacers second game of a B2B in which they won last nights game 113-110 at OKC in overtime. The Mavs have not played since their 132-112 victory at home against Portland on Wednesday. Your first instinct might be to fade Indiana on a B2B but the numbers would say otherwise. The Pacers are tied for a league best 6-2 ATS with no rest this season and 6-5-1 ATS with the rest disadvantage. The Mavs rank in the bottom four ATS with the rest advantage this year (4-7 ATS) and are 2-6 ATS with 2-3 days off between games. The Pacers first game of their B2B went to overtime however they are 3-1 ATS after overtime games this season and one was also the second game of a B2B in which they won outright as 3 point dogs against Miami. The Pacers are 11-5-1 as a road underdog this season, a league best 14-4-1 ATS in non-conference games, and 10-7 ATS after a win. The Mavs are just 8-7-1 ATS as home favourites, a league worst 4-10-1 ATS in non-conference games, and 10-16-1 ATS after a win. Dallas is definitely the better team in this matchup however I believe this is enough points for the Pacers to cover on the road.
