The jack of all trades! Handicaps most major sports with an eye on personnel angles, deep dives on stats and lasering in on his favorite conferences and teams that have edges or fade markers! Kansas City Royals @ Houston Astros, 8:10 PM EDT

    Daniel Lynch(L) 3-3, 5.12 vs Zack Greinke(R) 11-3, 3.43 ERA

Well, the Astros are getting a chance to hit against a left handed pitcher and this Houston offense is in full blast off. This offense is “woke”, as the cool and youthful kid would say. What is even more telling is that this Houston team woke up in the top of the 10th inning the last time these to teams played. There is also the narrative that Greinke is pitching against the ball club who drafted him and who he spent the early and virgin parts of his career with. Fast forward and Zack Greinke is a perennial all-star as well as a future HOFer. The Royals are going to see first hand exactly what Greinke is all about tonight. With the Royals being a terrible road offense and with Houston being as hot as they are, I have got to back the Astros who are my World Series pick. I dont even need to mention the Astros success rate with hitting against a lefty. Daniel Lynch isnt particularly dominant either. Since that extra innings game against Kansas City, the Astros have scored 31 runs and they also have the #1 ranked offense in five different categories. Look for Martin Maldonado to do some damage against his former club too since he love hitting lefties with his battering mates of Yordan Alvarez and Yuli Gurriel.

Bet- 1.2 units to win 1 unit on Houston Astros (-1.5) run line
