Ricky RubioPG, Minnesota TimberwolvesThe Wolves have announced their acquisition of Ricky Rubio, making the trade official.
Rubio is back in Minnesota after three years away, and he's going to step right back into the starting PG role. The Wolves have some gifted offensive players and Rubio will help make sure everyone gets fed without requiring lots of shots for himself. After a few down seasons in Utah Rubio bounced back last year, putting up a middle-round season with 8.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.2 triples per contest. He might sacrifice a little ball-handling duty given D'Angelo Russell's skill set but it's a decent landing spot for Rubio. His ceiling probably isn't as high as it was last year but it's a role that should still make him a solid fantasy contributor.
