Russell WestbrookPG, Houston RocketsRussell Westbrook (right quad strain) is "getting closer" and "living in the training room," per Mike D'Antoni, but the Rockets still don't have an official timetable for when he might return.
More specifically, D'Antoni said, "He's getting closer, whatever that means. We really don't know. He's living in the training room." Westbrook was expected to miss the "first few" games of the playoffs at minimum when his injury was announced, and it appears we've hit that benchmark. It'd be a major surprise if Westbrook suited up in Game 4 and he's questionable at best for the following contests as well. Eric Gordon will continue to start in his place.
