Russell Westbrook

Mike D'Antoni told the media that Russell Westbrook (left thumb) will play on Thursday vs. the Lakers but will sit out of Friday's game against the Suns.

Westbrook will return to action after a one-game absence but will sit out of the second half of their back-to-back on Friday. Westbrook has been excellent over the last two months, providing first round per-game value.
