Zion WilliamsonPF, New Orleans PelicansMitch Lawrence of Sirius XM is hearing that the Pelicans are planning for Zion Williamson (right knee surgery) to make his debut on Thursday against the Jazz.
Things can change based on how practice goes this week, but Zion has been doing 5-on-5 drills over the last couple of weeks. His debut would be a big lift for a Pelicans team that's floating on the edge of the playoff picture, though expectations should be tempered given the need for caution and prioritizing the long-term here.
