While Luka Doncic (left thumb sprain) is listed as questionable for Friday's game vs. the Heat, head coach Rick Carlisle believes Luka Doncic will play.

That's a good sign for Doncic's status. He played through the injury on Wednesday after his thumb got dinged up, and if his coach believes he will play, Doncic is probably going to get upgraded to probable or active in short order. Keep an eye on the next injury report update.
