Jalen Brunson underwent surgery on his torn labrum on Friday and has no timetable for a return.

The original plan was for Brunson to rehab the injury so he could return later on this season, but with the league stoppage for a minimum of 30 days underway it made sense to proceed with the surgery at this time. It is still not clear how long it will take Brunson to return to the floor as he recovers from the procedure.
