Hassan WhitesideC, Portland Trail BlazersHassan Whiteside (Achilles) was able to participate in Saturday's practice, which coach Terry Stotts described as "light."
It's a positive update on Whiteside, though it remains to be seen if he'll play in Sunday's tilt against the Raptors. With Jusuf Nurkic back at full strength, it'll be tough for Whiteside to maintain the lion's share of minutes if he can't participate in any of Portland's warm-up games. His uncertain role makes him a risky pick in resumption leagues, though Whiteside's block numbers will give him a solid floor.
