Dwight Howard is battling some knee soreness and will not play on Monday.

The Lakers don't need to push Howard through any discomfort for their scrimmage finale and will use today's game as an opportunity to get a better look at their young players. This ailment isn't expected to affect Howard's availability for the restart.
