Derrick RosePG, Detroit PistonsDerrick Rose (adductor strain) practiced on Tuesday, but his availability for Wednesday's game against the Magic has yet to be determined.
Rose had been monopolizing offensive responsibilities in the absence of Reggie Jackson, Blake Griffin and Luke Kennard, which inflated his stats to the point where he was returning top-50 value. He's not that player anymore, not simply because he doesn't warrant the massive usage he's getting on a bad Pistons team, but because his healthy typically doesn't allow for consistent stretches of elite production. We're seeing his body catch up to him once again. Upon his return, he'll likely just depress Reggie Jackson's and Bruce Brown's emergent production.
