According to Shams Charania, the 2019-20 NBA playoffs are tentatively set to begin on August 18, immediately after a play-in tournament which will run from the 16th through the 17th of that same month.

In addition, the second round of the playoffs is tentatively set for September 1, the Conference Finals on September 15 and the Finals in September 30. This is good news. The fact that the league is already making plans for schedules this far ahead, is encouraging sign. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the resumption of the league and it appears we're going to be able to crown a champion in just over two months' time.
