Kyle LowryPG, Toronto RaptorsNick Nurse has won the 2019-20 Coach of the Year award.
The vote was a blowout and it's a well-deserved honor for Nurse, who received 90 of a possible 100 first-place votes. Although he rose through the ranks with a reputation as a strong offensive mind, Toronto's defense has risen to another level under Nurse's leadership. He's a willing experimenter and will have the Raptors play a number of different styles, with their versatility emerging as one of the team's greatest weapons. The Raptors were once again one of the league's elite teams after losing two starters from last season's championship squad, including Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard. It was a long a winding road to the NBA for Nurse, but he's now the first person to ever win this award at the G League and NBA levels.
