Anthony DavisPF-C, Los Angeles LakersAnthony Davis (eye) popped in a game-high 34 points in Thursday's 103-101 win against the Clippers, shooting 8-for-19 from the field and 16-of-17 from the line to go with eight rebounds, four assists and two triples.
The Clippers didn't really have anyone who could contend with Davis tonight, as The Brow got Ivica Zubac and Marcus Morris in early foul trouble and rolled to 14 points in the first quarter. The lack of defensive stats was disappointing but we won't be too upset about this sterling opener, especially after he was questionable to play due to the eye injury he sustained in Saturday's scrimmage. Expect elite numbers from AD whenever he takes the floor.
