According to Shams Charania, the Lakers are close to landing a deal with reigning Sixth Man of the Year awardee Montrezl Harrell.

If this pans out for the Lakers, they may have just shot their city rivals in the foot, coming up with a huge coup. This is still in the discussion phase, so anything can happen, but it's definitely one of the must-watch items in free agency for sure.
