According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Pelicans are expected to have interest in Aron Baynes.

Baynes previously played for Pels bench boss Stan Van Gundy in Detroit and would give a young New Orleans squad some veteran leadership, not to mention toughness, rebounding, defensive mettle and a splash of outside shooting. Derrick Favors is a free agent and the Pelicans appear to be exploring alternatives for the center spot, with Baynes offering a little more versatility offensively.
