De'Anthony MeltonPG, Memphis GrizzliesDe'Anthony Melton and John Konchar have been given their qualifying offers from the Grizzlies.
Both players are now restricted free agents. The Grizzlies will be able to match any offer that either gets from another team, though how likely they are to do so remains to be seen. They went through a similar process last season with Delon Wright, who ended up on the Mavs. Melton's a versatile defender and sneaky fantasy play, so if he ends up on a roster with weaker guard depth it might be the preferred outcome for the fantasy crowd. Konchar put up some insane numbers in college and signed a two-way deal with Memphis last season, so perhaps he can earn a rotation spot with a strong camp after a promising rookie campaign. He's a name to know for extremely deep leagues.
