Shams Charania is reporting that the Lakers will continue to monitor the open market for another shooter.

J.R. Smith was named specifically, which isn't a surprise considering he recently worked out for the Lakers — his second reported workout with LA. If the team wants to add another player they'll need to cut someone, but that's a bridge that can be crossed when they get there.
