The Miami Heat are closing in on an agreement with Bam Adebayo to sign a five-year, $163 million extension according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

In a move that should surprise nobody, Adebayo caps off his meteoric rise from last season with a long-term commitment from the Heat. His defensive versatility and elite passing will make him a fantasy staple for years to come. It will cost you an early-round pick to attain his services this season.
