Rudy GobertC, Utah JazzRudy Gobert feasted on a non-existent Nuggets defense in Friday's 124-87 drubbing, posting 24 points on 11-of-15 shooting to go with 14 rebounds and a steal.
Nikola Jokic and company provided no resistance for the Jazz at all, with pitiful efforts allowing Gobert to pick up dunk after dunk. The Stifle Tower didn't have any blocks but it didn't matter as the Jazz were up by 20 for most of the game. This thorough trouncing also allowed Donovan Mitchell to pump the brakes a bit, though he sleepwalked his way to 20 points, four rebounds, a steal, a block and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes. The Jazz earned a split with Mike Conley out and now look to be in total control with their roster back at full strength and Denver scrambling for answers after two awful showings.
