Shams Charania is reporting that Markieff Morris plans to sign with the Lakers.

And there you have it. It looked like it was heading this way upon the initial news of the Morris buyout, and the Lakers will now be able to add Morris as a midseason acquisition. Morris will be useful as a 3-pointer streamer on the Lakers but is unlikely to emerge with any sort of standard-league value on a team this deep.
