D'Angelo RussellPG, Golden State WarriorsKevin O'Connor of The Ringer reports that the Warriors and Wolves discussed a swap of D'Angelo Russell for Andrew Wiggins but talks are held up due to protections on the Wolves' 2020 first-round pick.
The Wolves have long been interested in adding Russell, and it sounds like they were close with this new route. If talks reignite and a similar deal is consummated, each player might have as much opportunity as they could handle on their new team.
