Woj is reporting that Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is finalizing a buyout from the Hornets.

Kidd-Gilchrist has barely played this season as the Hornets have been very upfront with their veterans that this season is about developing the younger players. There are already rumors circulating that he could wind up in Dallas once he clears waivers where he would probably challenge Dorian Finney-Smith for minutes.
