It's not surprising that the Lakers will rest their top guys in the scrimmage finale. Davis had to leave Saturday's exhibition after getting poked in the eye but it's entirely possible that this was the plan all along. Expect both superstars to be ready for Thursday's season re-opener against the Clippers.
