J.J. BareaPG, Dallas MavericksJJ Barea was the surprise starter on Thursday night, turning 21 minutes into 10 points, four rebounds, six assists and a 3-pointer against the Nets.
Typically Jalen Brunson or Seth Curry starts when a guard goes down but it was Barea who replaced the ailling Tim Hardaway Jr. in this one. There's not a ton to like since JJB had only appeared in two of the last 10 games before tonight, but if he's playing you can consider him a source of cheap assists.
