    Javonte Green led the Celtics in scoring in their 90-96 loss to the Wizards with 23 points while adding four rebounds and three 3-pointers.

    Green's previous career-high was 12 points against the Hornets back in 2019. He went 8-for-17 from the floor and hit all four his free throws, so it wasn't like he was just chucking up shots for no reason. Today's line was a bit weird, as Green made a name for himself being a strong defender and his shot had a lot to be desired coming into the NBA. Tonight he recorded zero defensive stats, so take this performance with a massive grain of salt.
