Jarrett Allen put together 14 points (7-of-9 FG), five rebounds and three assists in defeat against the Magic on Friday afternoon.

The hope is that Allen posts some monster lines with DeAndre Jordan's absence, but this is awfully thin over 27 minutes of playing time. Allen barely grabbed more rebounds than the guards playing alongside him and he posted a fat zero in blocks. With all of the opportunity before him, this should be the floor for Allen, and one has to hope the Nets can simply get their defense to some level of respectability to enable the starters to crack 30 minutes on some nights.
