Derrick Jones Jr.SF, Miami HeatDerrick Jones Jr. started for an injured Jimmy Butler (shoulder) and wound up producing an odd line, going 0-for-3 from the field and getting all his nine points from the line (9-of-14 shooting).
DJJ also added six boards and swiped one steal to the box. It wasn't the big multi-cat line many were hoping to see from him. This sub-par performance highlights the fact that he cannot lean on sheer athleticism in every game. His ability to fill the box score is only marred by his inefficient shooting. He's more of a deep-league play right now.
