Paul GeorgeSF, Los Angeles ClippersWhile Paul George is in the midst of a nasty shooting slump, the Clippers want him to keep on firing to get out of it.
When asked about how he wants George to snap the funk, Doc Rivers said, "Just let him keep shooting. We clearly got to get him more shots. And that's on us, on all of us. [He got] great looks and I just want him to get more of those and take more of those. He needs to shoot 20-plus times, he needs to get the ball up in the air." A bet on regression is pretty wise, and at this point the battle seems largely mental. Encouraging PG to stay aggressive is the hardest part, especially as negative attention swirls around a heavily favored Clippers squad. George is 10-for-47 over the last three games and shooting just 29% for the series.
