Hey everyone,
So I am one of those worried AD owners with the news coming out today about the stress injury. I doubt I can sell him at all now (even though no owners were biting before). My question is, how can I win with possibly losing my best fantasy player?
Context: I am currently 5th in a 12T, H2H, 9cat league. I’m punting 3PM and FT%
Current Roster: Killian Hayes, Deanthony Melton, Mikal Brdiges, Oladipo, Butler, Vandey, Lebron, Nance, Kyle Anderson, Barnes, Horford, Poeltl, Adams.
Should I make some moves to try to recoup some of AD’s defensive stats? Should I just keep working the waiver wire? I may need some guys to do better for a few games to get some decent value for them (Barnes, Mikal, Poeltl, etc.)
I am hoping AD won’t need surgery but I need to plan for the worst.
Thanks in advance!
So therein lies the rub with punts. If you lose the guy making the punt work, the whole thing comes crashing down. I think I'd probably stream more roster spots if you can.
@dbesbris This is my first year truly doing a punt build. In your experience, do you recommend doing them or just look for guys that are great at all 9 categories?
I don't much care for it. I prefer to draft best player and then if you have some strengths/weaknesses in-season you can kinda lean into them
