Hi everyone, i am currently in first place by 6 games in a H2H 9Cats 12 team league. I was offered Durant/Hunter for my PG/Rozier. some of the guys i have are Jokic,FVV,Holiday,Collins, Duren, Nurkic and of course PG and Rozier.
I am pondering this offer but not sure because giving up a lot of points and 3s but having Durant for the playoffs might be very tempting. What are your thoughts and should i bite the bullet and go for it. I actually will ask for Tre Jones instead of Hunter.
With you being in 1st place by such a margin, I would jump on that Durant offer ASAP. You can take the missed games and I bet Brooklyn plays their guys down the stretch to get better positioning.
I can give you some insight from the other side. I am in last place and I have Durant. I've had the all-injury crew team so far with most of my best players missing multiple weeks including Durant, Haliburton, Bane, Maxey, Rozier, and John Collins. I decided trading Durant away to someone higher in the standings might be a good idea. The best straight up offers I've received are Trae Young, Anthony Edwards, and De'Aaron Fox. I tried to move Durant for Jaren Jackson Jr to the guy in first place that posted he was looking to move blocks and he rejected me and moved JJJ for Markannen instead. That should give you a better idea how much you need to pay to acquire Durant, since I can't even move him for a reasonable offer in my $100 Yahoo public league.
@brodzikd I figured PG wld be ok to let go since he’s always in and out of lineup and a terrible playoff schedule as well. I appreciate ur perspective and it allows me more ammunition.
I'd lean toward yes here. Only hesitation would be if your playoffs start before the All Star Break.
