Posted this last week. Just adding a more specific question.
My 8-team, 9-CAT league just submitted their 4-keepers today. Draft is this Sunday! I've listed them below in order of how they will draft (Straight, No snake). My team is #4 (BOLD).
Considering taking one of the following with my first round pick:
Beal, Bane, Rozier, VanVleet. Just not sure if Bane (my favorite pick here) would be there in round 2 if I grabbed Beal in the first round. Thoughts welcome.
1) Booker, Lillard, Siakim, Barnes
2) Morant, Edwards, Cunningham, Mobley
3) Doncic, James, A.Davis, Jokic
4) Durant, Sabonis, Embiid, D.Murray
5) Harden, Kyrie, SGA, LaMelo Ball
6) Steph Curry, Haliburton, Garland, KAT
7) Fox, Randle, Tatum, Vucevic
8) D.Mitchell, T.Young, Giannis, Adebayo
is Primo a solid pickup of 12 teams 9cats H2H? it seems that he will get enough mins and usage in the second units.
14 team h2h 9 cat
My Vassell/Franz + Clarke
for his Rozier
14 team h2h 9 cat
My Vassell/Franz + Clarke
for his Rozier
I would pick up Caleb, McDaniels or Jalen Williams
thanks
9Cats Roto game capped,
if I drafted all guards for first 2 round and I want to grab Bigs (Rebs, FG% and Blk) in 3rd round..
who should I pick if they are all available?
Please rank (Siakam, Ayton, Myles Turner, Jarrett Alan and Mobley)
Who has the better value Siakam, Rudy, Bam or Vuc in a 9 cat H2H?
When building a roto team, as a baseline, do you aim for a certain number of assists/rebounds? Specifically I'm trying to build from 1st pick in a 10 team roto. I'm trying to ascertain if I'll need to reach for a second C early as Vuc/Turner/Allen will likely be gone by my 4th and 5th picks. Or I just take the 4 guards available and then hope for Wcj/Hartenstein later in the draft?
Hi guys - i have the 11th pick in a 16T 9cat H2H cats league, and the draft is in a few days. Lillard / Trae usually end up being my first pick in mocks and and just wanted your thoughts on whether or not i should pair either of them with Kawahi in the 2nd round at pick 22? i know his injury history and will he prob end up playing below avg number of games, but seems crazy to leave him there, especially inn our deep league.. what do you think ?
@thejordanrulz The quality games grid has indeed been added here, as well. https://sportsethos.com/top-posts/2022-23-draft-guide-low-traffic-games/
And while I like Cam Johnson I think you hold on Hartenstein since your C's are a bit of a weak position, especially so once the Jazz start to marginalize Olynyk at some point mid-year. Unless you're in some sort of Bigs punt but I don't see that as the case.
@david-adams Fred VanVleet's FG% makes me nervous about adding him to your team that early. Beal could have a really nice bounce-back season but I think I agree with you that I would prefer Bane in that spot after his breakout season. I would give a long hard look to Terry Rozier as he might be the only thing that is good on a Charlotte team that has gone through it over the last year. Instead of choosing between Beal and Bane, I would be deciding between Rozier and Bane with an ever so slight lean towards Bane because I'm nervous about the Hornets team as a whole.
@wangping0104 In my opinion, no I don't think the second-year player will be relevant in 9-cat 12-team leagues this season. He barely shot over 40% from the field in the G League last season and his efficiency will negate any value he might have with the counting stats.
@william-weyher Give me the best player in Rozier, although I'd prefer trading away Franz Wagner to Vassell given how many mouths there will be to feed in Orlando while they'll have the opposite problem in San Antonio. Although I'm not as decided on that as I am that Rozier is the better side in this potential deal. As I mentioned in a previous comment, I really like Rozier's value this season and only situation this doesn't pay off is if they are a total dumpster fire and end up going for Wemby or Scoot. The Big Red Dog in Clifford will do his best to not let that happen, however.
I'd then decide between Caleb and assuming that's Jaden McDaniels. I'd go Caleb for the floor and McDaniels/Ja. Williams for the ceiling with a lean towards the third-year player out of that duo.
@dbesbris That's great! I love the weekly splits! Thanks for the advice as well Dan...
