Hello! Do you guys have any strategy when dealing with multiple injuries and you go over the IR slots? I have Dame, Cade, LaMelo, CJ, and Middleton with only 3 IR slots. On one end, I’m not that worried since most are short term injuries, but I’m also currently 8th out of 10 in my league and I don’t know if I should start panicking. Is it worth it and does it work to “cut losses” by trading for lower ranked players or other injured players (maybe package along with a healthy player)?
What kind of league is this? If it's a Roto games cap league you can bench these guys till they are healthy and make up games later. H2H you have to sit on these guys for a while. Seems like many of them are close to a return. I'm not a fan of selling low / selling injured players.
@slickrock Yup, I’m in a 10t 9cat H2H. What are your thoughts on Cade? I’m hesitant on trading (and I’m not sure anyone would accept) but the lack of updates from Detroit has me worried.
Yeah it looks pretty bleak for our guy Cade. I bet he's out for the rest of the season. Still waiting on that final update though... Can always try to move him if you think someone will bite - not sure you'll get anyone better than a top 100 type player.
STREAM like crazy your last few roster slots to try to make up the games deficit each week and then, sadly, you probably have to drop someone or you're going to get run for a little while here.
