Tyler Anderson OVER 5.0 Pitcher Strikeouts

This will be Tyler Anderson’s second start since moving back into the rotation for the halos. He will be taking on the Pirates, who currently sit 12 games under .500. Over the last week, the Pirates have struck out the fifth most times in MLB, averaging 11.2 strikeouts per game. Anderson has had a rough season, but should still at least be able to push this number. He has hit at least five strikeouts in six out of his last seven showings, including his appearances in long relief.

Julio Rodriguez OVER 7.0 Hitter Fantasy Score

Alek Manoah gets the start for Toronto in Seattle. Blue Jays fans will be hoping it goes better than his last outing in which he struck out zero batters and walked five over only three innings. Manoah faced the Mariners earlier this year and in that matchup, Julio got on base three games against Manoah with a double, a single and a HBP. J-Rod homered in the middle game of this series and got walked twice in the first game.

    Alex Bregman OVER 0.5 Singles

Bregman has homered in all three games of this series in Oakland. He added a single in the last two as well. In Luis Medina’s start against Houston earlier in the season, he gave up five earned runs on seven hits. Bregman’s home run on Saturday ended up being the only run Houston would score in a 4-1 loss. The Astros should come out looking to remedy that loss to the worst team in the league.

Masataka Yoshida OVER 1.5 Total Bases

The rookie is hitting .407 in the month of July. He has registered over 1.5 total bases in 11 July games out of 14 games played. Carlos Carrasco gets the start for the Mets and he’s been average besides a gem he pitched against the Diamondbacks. The Red Sox had been one of the hottest teams in the league before dropping a few to the Oakland A’s. Despite that, Yoshida has continued his stellar season and remains one of the favorites for AL ROTY.

Pete Alonso UNDER 0.5 Total Runs

Polar bear has been much better at getting on base during this series so far. He has racked up four hits in the first two games of this series and managed to score three runs as well. With that said, he still is having a down year and has only scored 28 runs not from home runs over the entire season.

Carlos Carrasco UNDER 4.5 Total Ks

Even in Carlos Carrasco’s eight inning gem against the Arizona Diamondbacks, he was able to rack up only four total strikeouts. The Red Sox’s offense is one of the hottest in the leagues, ranking in the top 10 in runs scored over the last 15 days and in the bottom 10 when it comes to striking out.
