Brady Singer OVER 5.0 Pitcher Strikeouts
This is all about the matchup here with Brady Singer at home taking on the strikeout leaders in the Minnesota Twins. Singer has been a little bit better at home and the longevity has been there with him going at least six innings in three out of his four July starts. His last start came against the Yankees, where he struck out nine batters over six innings pitched.
Max Scherzer OVER 6.0 Pitcher Strikeouts
Mad Max welcomes his former team to Queens a day after the Mets traded their best healthy reliever. The number is a little scary as the Nats don’t strike out that much, but with how good Scherzer has been, he should at least be able to get a push. Scherzer has gotten at least six strikeouts in his last seven starts. He pitched in Washington earlier this season and struck out six batters despite not being at his healthiest. With his improved play of late, he should be able to at least match that strikeout tally tonight.

Lucas Giolito OVER 2.0 Walks Allowed
Lucas Giolito will be making his first start for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim tonight in Toronto. Giolito is averaging 3.25 walks per game over four July starts. One of those starts came against this same Toronto team, where Giolito gave up two walks. Over the last week, the Blue Jays are tied for third when it comes to total walks drawn. There are some veterans on this Toronto team who take tough at-bats and make the pitcher work.
Mookie Betts OVER 1.5 Total Bases
You know Mookie is always going to give you a chance at this. He’s quietly put together a six game hit streak and is consistently one of the best players in the league. His OPS in July is 1.012 and the Dodgers welcome the Reds in what should be a fun, high-scoring series between two dynamic offenses with make-shift rotations. Brandon Williamson starts for the Reds and he started against the Dodgers in that game where Will Benson hit a walk-off home run in Cincinnati. Mookie hit a lead-off homer off of Brandon Williamson in the first inning that game.

Elias Diaz OVER 0.5 Total RBIs
The Rockies return home to take on the Oakland Athletics in what will be a very under the radar series between two teams that have no direction at the moment. That being said, the potential for runs is always there at Coors and Elias Diaz has been Colorado’s most productive bat this year. Diaz leads the Rockies in RBIs this year and he should add to that tally against the worst team in the league.
Nolan Arenado OVER 0.5 Total Hits
There are rumors swirling around this Cardinals clubhouse with Nolan Arenado’s name being mentioned in a few of those rumors. I imagine it will take quite a haul to get him out of there, but they do have some young infielders that they can turn to in the event he is dealt. He has been good in July with a .333 batting average and has registered a hit in 10 out of his last 12 games. In his last five matchups against the Cubs, Arenado has gotten a hit in all five games.
