Week 4 SNF Fantasy Recap

  • Chiefs 41, Buccaneers 31 (Chiefs covered +1, O45.5)

    Chiefs

    QB

Patrick Mahomes:  Mahomes put on a clinic on Sunday night against a very good Buccaneers defense. He completed 23-of-37 passes for 249 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. The touchdown pass to Clyde Edwards-Helaire was an absolute thing of beauty and if you have yet to see a replay of it, I would highly recommend you do so. Even without the weapons that he used to have from past seasons, he has been able to continue high-quality production for his fantasy GMs. Mahomes was able to complete a pass to 10 different players on Sunday and has done a great job of spreading the ball around through four weeks.

    RB

Clyde Edwards-Helaire: CEH continues to be insanely efficient, scoring a pair of touchdowns on his first six touches of the game on Sunday. Since the game script was in his favor, he was able to get more touches than usual and turned in a very impressive fantasy game. Edwards-Helaire rushed the ball 19 times for 92 yards and a touchdown, adding a two-yard receiving touchdown on two targets. In a game like this where the Chiefs were able to get ahead early, it was a very welcomed sight after not seeing many opportunities to start the season.  It should also be noted that Isaiah Pacheco was worked in more than normal when the Chiefs were up big, rushing 11 times for 63 yards and getting the majority of his work in the second half.
