NFL DFS Monday Slate Picks – September 8, 2025

    Monday Night Football is here! The Vikings are favoured by 1.5 points on the road against the Bears and the O/U is set at 43.5 points. All eyes are on Ben Johnson’s and J.J. McCarthy’s debuts! Chicago’s new coach will bring his intricate Detroit offense to the Bears, which could pose trouble for the freewheeling Caleb Williams. In his first game with Ben Johnson calling the plays, Jared Goff posted a 56.8% completion percentage with a mere 5.8 yards per pass attempt. If we extended that to the first seven games, Detroit had one win and six losses while Goff threw 12 TDs and 6 picks. On the other hand, Kevin O’Connell started with five wins and two losses in the first seven games with Sam Darnold at the helm, throwing for 14 TDs and five picks in that span. And in his debut? Darnold had a 79.2% completion percentage and 8.7 yards per pass attempt. With just a glimpse of how both offenses could roll into week 1, let’s get straight to it! Sports Ethos Country, Let’s Ride!

    Prior to discussing our picks, let’s briefly recap yesterday’s slate. Christian McCaffrey, J.K. Dobbins, Deebo Samuel, Ricky Pearsall, Hunter Henry and Kyle Pitts were hits and R.J. Harvey and Tetairoa McMillan were misses. As for the QBs, Drake Maye and Brock Purdy, both slightly outperformed their price-tag, but the expectations on Maye were higher. Regarding the Ravens @ Bills single game slate, Derrick Henry and Keon Coleman displayed excellent results, with Josh Palmer’s score being as expected.
