Welcome everyone to another jam packed Wednesday, January 26th slate featuring 10 games including 2 make-up games.

Well well well, another 10-game slate where I will be targeting games over 220 total points. We have a whopping 6 games tonight that should hit that number, making it a very juicy slate to attack many of the high priced studs as well as some intriguing value plays to boot. Several games are under 10 points in spread as well, which should keep games competitive, allowing our fantasy points to keep climbing. Without further ado, let’s dive into some of my favorite plays.

    Player Tiers

    Expensive Tier

Nikola Jokic ($12,400) – Another slate featuring Nikola Jokic as the highest priced player in a high pace game environment, making Jokic a lock and load option across all game types. Coming off a monster 20-20 game, Jokic is facing a soft Brooklyn Nets interior which should give up fantasy points by the bunches. I am anticipating 65-70 fantasy points with relative ease.

James Harden ($11,500) – On the other side of the ball in a home game against the Nuggets we have James Harden, with another solid floor and high ceiling potential in this matchup. Without the services of Durant and Irving, Harden’s usage will likely skyrocket tonight. With so many high priced stud guards to choose from, Harden is my favorite of the bunch.

Ja Morant ($9,900)- The young Memphis Grizzlies point guard is still somehow priced under $10K on Draftkings. Coming off back to back monster performances featuring 35 and 38 points respectively, Morant is in store for another massive outing going up against the Spurs on the road.

Dejounte Murray ($9,800)- On the other side of the ball for Spurs is the impressive point guard Dejounte Murray, a walking triple-double threat this season. In a paced up game environment, Murray is another great option both in cash and tournament contests. I expect a heavy workload featuring high assists and rebounds, and fire him up in all lineups.

    Mid-Tier

Jimmy Butler ($8,500) – Coming off a triple-double Butler is in a perfect spot for another monster outing taking on the New York Knicks at home. While I do not expect another triple double, his suppressed price tag makes him someone to target in that middle price tier, given he will have the keys to the offense all night long.

Demar DeRozan ($8,200) – It seems as though the mid-tier is where we find much of the value based on the point production relative to price. DeRozan is one terrific example coming off a monster 54-point fantasy effort against the Magic. He is somehow priced at only $8.2K making him a lock and load option, especially with so many high priced players on the card to build alongside.

Jusuf Nurkic ($7,700) – Trail Blazers are hosting the Mavericks at home, which feature one of the worst interior defenses as well, despite Porzingis back in the lineup. Nurkic is coming off a monster double-double in a losing effort the night before. I fully expect another monster line from him, and under $8K he is a cost effective option as well.

Kevin Love ($6,000) – This is a case where we need to monitor the latest injury reports closely. If Jarrett Allen ends up missing this game, Love becomes an absolute slam dunk salary-saving big man option. With the Cavs already down Markkanen, they will need Love’s scoring and rebounding in a tough home game against the Bucks.

Mo Bamba ($5,400) – This is certainly a game script scenario play, with Bamba likely in the starting lineup, I expect him and Carter Jr. to have their way with Zubac and the Clippers after they had an emotional last-second victory the night before. Bamba will provide blocks and rebounds at a high clip.

    Value

De’anthony Melton ($4,700) – Coming off back to back 35+ fantasy point efforts, Melton is once again in the mix as a strong value option with a price reduction of $100 as well. Melton is a defensive minded guard who has been shooting the ball more in recent games with many players out of the lineup. I expect another big outing against the Spurs.

Cameron Johnson ($4,300) – With Jae Crowder out of the lineup, Johnson has become an absolute stud when he gets the minutes. Tonight the Suns travel to take on the Jazz, making him another great cost savings option at the wing position.

Luke Kennard ($4,200) – Kennard is coming off a heroic four-point play to sink the Wizards last night, in a game where he did a little bit of everything including rebounding and play-making. With a consistent role off the bench, Kennard should be a great value play as the Clippers travel to take on the Magic.

Honorable Mentions: Luka Doncic ($11,100), Pascal Siakam ($8,900), Evan Mobley ($8,100), Derrick White ($5,900), Bismack Biyombo ($5,500), and Danilo Gallinari ($4,400)
