The first day of the Conference Finals is here! It’s Tuesday and we’ve got the Wolves @ OKC (-7.5) matchup and a O/U of 216 points. Looking at team stats, we can see that throughout the playoffs OKC has the 5th worst rebounding %, the lowest tov% and the 2nd highest pace. Meanwhile, both OKC and the Wolves generate the most amount of turnovers and the Wolves allow the least fastbreak points, the 2nd least points in the paint and have the 5th highest rebounding %. Their major weakness? As of now, it seems to be their turnover rate, as they have the 6th highest in the playoffs. There’s a lot more to get to, so let’s get started!

DFS Pillar Plays
Anthony Edwards
Position: PG/SG
Salary: $17,400 / $11,600
On his last three games, Anthony Edwards stepped up as a playmaker, dishing 21 combined assists, and as a shooter, connecting on 16 for 34 threes. Over the playoffs, he leads the Wolves with 59 assists (tied with Julius Randle) to only 23 turnovers (Randle has 31), and those two numbers should be key for this series. OKC’s insurmountable perimeter defense will now chase veteran Mike Conley, Donte DiVicenzo and whoever the Wolves turn to start the offense, and the Wolves aforementioned 6th highest turnover rate in the playoff will face the team that generates the most. With this, the Wolves could turn to their superstar to handle even more playmaking and orchestrator duties that he’s seen until now. On top of his possible added playmaking duties and red-hot hand from deep, Edwards has also been active on the boards, ranking 2nd behind Rudy Gobert in rebounds per game in the Wolves clubhouse for the playoffs. Against OKC’s 5th worst rebounding %, that’s a big fantasy plus. We don’t know how OKC will respond just two days after a crucial game seven against Denver, but the Wolves and their superstar should have the fresher legs for game one!
