First of all, congratulations to all the Mavericks fans! But the Daily Fantasy world doesn’t stop, so here we are again to cover an amazing two game slate! We’re starting off in the East, with the Pacers @ Cavaliers (-7.5) matchup, that boasts a 229.5 O/U and a chance for the Pacers to put Cleveland to rest with a win. Donovan Mitchell is questionable for today, and with Darius Garland visibly hurt and Evan Mobley still lingering with his ankle injury, the Cavs seem to have a huge mountain to climb for a series comeback. After that game, we’ll have the much awaited Nuggets @ OKC matchup, with a 220.5 O/U and every OKC fan (me included) hoping for the Jalen Williams outburst that’s surely coming. Right…? After going two for 13 in game four, that’s a bigger question mark than what was expected after seeing the 1st time All-Star perform in the regular season. There’s a lot to get to, so let’s get started!

DFS Pillar Plays
Nikola Jokic
Position: C
Salary: $11,400
Taking OKC’s 43-point win out of the equation, Nikola Jokic has shot 29, 25 and 22 times in the other three games of the series. While it’s true that he has more turnovers than assists in the series and shot below 40% from the field in the past three games, the Joker shooting 20+ times a game is a fantasy points mine. In seven career playoffs, Jokic never shot below than 50% from the field and 80% from the line (well, he shot 79.9% in the 2023 playoffs, but we’re rounding that up), and he’s at 45.5% from the field and 74% from the line. OKC’s defense deserves a ton of credit for that, but the sheer brilliance of Jokic indicates that positive shooting regression should be coming, making the 40+ minutes he’s playing and 20+ shots he’s taking even more valuable. To put icing on the cake, OKC also has the 2nd lowest rebounding % in the 2nd round of the playoffs, as the Joker grabbed 29 boards in the past two games.
