DFS Delivery for Tuesday, February 11

  • It’s Tuesday and we’ve got a small but beautiful four game slate! Let’s go over each game. First, we’ve got the Raptors @ Sixers, with an O/U set at 225 and Joel Embiid questionable. After that, we’ve got possible Eastern Conference Playoff preview, with the Knicks @ Pacers game! Despite the Knicks ranking 24th in pace, this game has an O/U set at 240. After that exciting game, we have a Pistons @ Bulls showdown that has a 237 O/U and lots of young talent flourishing. Matas Buzelis and Ausar Thompson have looked great lately, and Buzelis has been a regular here since Zach LaVine got traded. Lastly, we’ve got the Grizzlies @ Suns, with an O/U of 244.5 and a lot of offensive firepower! If the Grizzlies ranking first in pace and the Suns ranking 25th in defensive rating wasn’t enough for you, we’ve been witnessing a Bol Bol ressurgence! He has 65 fpts over the last two games! The truth is, with Kevin Durant back, his role slides back to what it was when the seven foot superstar was playing. But hey, what least now you’re wondering if the seven foot superstar is KD or Bol Bol. Let’s get started!

    DFS Pillar Plays

    Jalen Brunson

    Salary: $8,400

    Position: PG

Jalen Brunson has played two times against Indiana this season. He got 40.75 and 56 fpts in those games, while shooting 21/36 from the field and getting 15 assists against four turnovers. Over the past 15 games, the Pacers are allowing top-10 points, assists and fg% to opposing PGs and the Knicks are very well-rested. The schedule has smiled upon them and this game is the second game they play in a seven day period. In his past three games, free-throws we’re an integral part of Brunson’s fantasy ouput. He attempted 35 free-throws and made 32, accounting for about a third of his points scored. The Pacers rank 6th in most fta allowed to opposing teams, and the Knicks PG is poised to take advantage of the foul-prone Pacers D. Jalen Brunson should be seen as a safe option with the aforementioned stats indicating that his ceiling is higher than usual! Another star PG that deserves mention and is a solid alternative to Brunson is Ja Morant ($8,600). His minutes can be irregular, as he played just 30+ minutes once in his last five games, but the Suns allow the 5th most points, 4th most assists and 6th most threes to opposing PGs. But those stats usually come of volume, as they also allow the 8th worst fg% – 41.9%. Pairing that fg% with Ja’s lower minutes, and the floor of his fantasy game drops considerably, making him a high-risk move that costs $200 more than Brunson.
