• OKC is in the Finals! And today the Pacers will try to close out the Knicks for a Finals berth. The Knicks are at home, are favoured by four points and the O/U is set at 223.5 points. Both Karl-Anthony Towns and Aaron Nesmith are questionable, and it could have major implications in what could be the last playoff game this season in Madison Square Garden. Will Jalen Brunson allow this game to be the last without going out with a bang? His 37.2% usage rate for the series and 79 points scored in two home games point otherwise! Let’s get right to it!

    Jalen Brunson

    Position: PG

    Salary: $16,500 / $11,000

The 37.2% usage rate speaks for itself, but that number came with a healthy Karl-Anthony Towns. There’s a chance the Towns injury doesn’t impact those numbers, but the mere possibility is worth noting as it increases Jalen Brunson’s value. But back to his regular numbers. In two games in New York, Brunson shot the ball 52 times and made 25 of them, good for an incredible 48%. The Pacers are allowing the most fta in the Conference Finals, standing at 32.5, and the 2nd most points in the paint behind the Wolves, 37.5 points. For the playoffs, they stand 6th out of 16 teams regarding both points in the paint allowed and fta allowed. Brunson has scored 12.5 points in the paint in the series and attempted 10.3 fta per game, scoring 22 points just out of these two areas alone. And what if his threes fall? We saw a glimpse of it in game two, with five threes made and 60.75 fpts. Bruson’s workload and efficiency in New York are synonym with fantasy value!
