It’s Thursday and the NBA is fully back with a nine game slate! And it’s an incredible one. We’ve got a high-pace PG battle between the Grizzlies and Pacers with a 249 O/U, the Celtics playing in Philly with Joel Embiid questionable, Trae Young playing against the stingy Magic defense, the battle of the opposites between the Cavs and Nets, the fantasy-friendly Bulls playing in Madison Square Garden with an O/U set at 244.5, a Clippers vs. Bucks game that should translate to James Harden and Kawhi Leonard vs. Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic playing against the probable three-headed monster of Mark Williams, Jusuf Nurkic and Moussa Diabate, the Suns and Spurs fighting for a play-in spot and the Luka Doncic-led Lakers playing against the red-hot Blazers. There’s not one single game that doesn’t get us excited, so let’s get straight to it!

DFS Pillar Plays
Karl-Anthony Towns
Position: C
Salary: $9,700
Karl-Anthony Towns put up 66.5 and 70.5 fpts in his last two games before the All-Star break, and you can almost pinpoint his exact lackluster games in the schedule. Against the Celtics? 25.75 fpts. Lakers? 22. Denver? 37.5. Houston? 40.25. OKC? 39.5. Memphis? 44.75. Notice a pattern? Those are all top-10 defenses from January 1st on and the Nuggets, who rank 12th and have Nikola Jokic. Well, the Bulls rank 26th. And Towns put up 46/10/3 and 44/16/5 stat-lines in two matchups against the Bulls this season, good for 75 and 71.5 fpts. It makes sense, as the Bulls allow the 2nd most points, 4th most assists and most threes to opposing Cs! Oh, and the cherry on top of the cake? Towns averages an extra 7.5 fpts at home!
