The first game seven of the 2025 Playoffs is upon us! The Clippers @ Nuggets (-1.5) matchup has an O/U of 206 and it will star two of the most prolific playoff performers playing against each other – Nikola Jokic and Kawhi Leonard! An interesting wrinkle for today’s game is that both teams have shot the ball better in Denver, as the Clippers have a 57.8% true shooting % at home and 59.4% in Denver. But the biggest increase, unsurprisingly, comes from the Denver squad, who boasts a 54% to 59.3% increase in true shooting % at home when compared to on the road, with a remarkable 9.4% increase in 3pt% and 4.7% increase in ft%. James Harden playoff elimination recorded also deserves mention, as he has won only 10 out of 25 career playoff elimination games and averages 22.7 ppg on 42/32/84 shooting splits, dishing 6.3 assists to 4.4 turnovers. Those stats are a true 180 degree turn from Kawhi Leonard’s, who won four out of his last five elimination games while shooting 50/33/91 splits on his way to 31 ppg on those matchups. There’s a lot more to get to, so let’s get started!

Jamal Murray
Position: PG/SG
Salary: $14,700 / $9,800
Jamal Murray has been stupendous at home this series, shooting 15 from 29 from deep in Denver and four for 15 in LA. Playoff Murray has showed up once this series, going for 71.25 fpts in game five, showcasing his tremendous fantasy potential that’s tied to his shot-making ability. Will he duplicate that today? His past performance in elimination games show that’s more an imminent reality than a possibility, as Murray averages 29 ppg, 5 rpg and 5.5 apg in 10 elimination games, posting the best winning percentage out of the Kawhi Leonard, James Harden and Nikola Jokic group in their careers. It’s true that Murray has always been tied to Nikola Jokic for those matchups, but together they won seven out of 10 elimination matchups, while Jokic without Murray has a one win and two losses record. But we are yet to reach the best part. In those games, Jamal averages 21.6 fga, 7 3pa and 5 fta on absolutely incredible 50/43/92 shooting splits. The only player who takes more shots in elimination games of the aforementioned group is Kawhi, but Murray has a 10% increase in 3pt% in about the same attempts! We’ve seen Murray score 40 twice and 50 once in elimination games, and a stellar Murray performance in Denver today would be another high-point on his already fullfilled playoff resume. While we’re discussing the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic ($20,400 / $13,600) has to be mentioned. His last two games have been subpar when compared to his regular season stats, putting up 53.5 and 52.75 fpts, but his career 26.8-12.8-6.5 p-r-a averages on 52/38/84 shooting splits on playoff elimination games have tremendous merit. On top of that, he scored 30+ points in his last three elimination matchups! Jokic’s price-tag is considerably higher than every other player today, but he’s a valuable pick nontheless.
