    It’s Monday and we’re here to cover game four of the West Conference Finals after OKC suffered their worst loss of the season, where they shot 41% from the field and lost the rebounding battle by 19. Today, they’re favoured by three on the road and the game has a 219 O/U! On the Wolves side, Anthony Edwards seems to have found his mojo with two straight 54.25 fpts performances, and Terrence Shannon Jr. injected a much need athletic punch in their squad.     For the 2025 playoffs, Chet Holmgren playing as a lone big on the floor originated a +22 net rating for OKC when compared to the league average, with the offensive rating being +9.7 and the defensive rating +12.3. With both Chet and Isaiah Hartenstein on the floor, those numbers dipped to -0.1 net rating, -6.4 offensive rating and +6.3 defensive rating, while with only Hartenstein on the floor those numbers were +17.7 net rating, +6.8 offensive rating and +11.2 defensive rating. Again, all compared to the league average. Regarding the much maligned three-point %, that stood at 32% in game three, it stands at 37.3% with only Chet, 21.6% with both bigs and 34.6% with only Hartenstein. These numbers point towards a substantial advantage for OKC when playing Chet as the lone big, and after game three, Mark Daignault could turn into this strategy to counter the Wolves. With Chet as the lone big, it will be harder for defensive monster Rudy Gobert to have his typical high impact interior defense, opening lanes for the MVP to attack the paint. Will OKC explore the aforementioned statistical advantage? In all honesty, we don’t know, but the possibility of it increases Chet’s upside tremendously.
