It’s only been two days, but the NBA world has been shaken up since I’ve last been here talking about DFS. But the wheels keep moving and we’re here again talking about a 10-game slate on a beautiful Monday! Out of the teams involved in the trades, only the Kings and Spurs are playing today, and it seems unlikely that the new additions will play, as the Bulls still have to cut two roster spots. Nevertheless, keep an open eye towards the injury report and our feed to stay up-to-date! We’re going to focus on the main eight game slate and then give our favourite plays out of the Magic @ Warriors and Suns @ Blazers night slate! Let’s get started!

In his lone game against the Pelicans this season, Nikola Jokic put up 66.25 fpts. Just to put things into perspective, that’s two points below his season average. Jokic is averaging an extra two fppg at home this season and the Nuggets are playing in Denver after a gruesome five game road trip. And why is that? He’s shooting around 14% better from three and 4% better from the line at home! Unsurprisingly, in his past seven home games, the Joker put up 74, 61.25, 72.75, 83, 85, 72.75 and 99 fpts. And things don’t stop getting better. The Nuggets are playing in the game with the second highest O/U of the slate, set at 240.5 points, against a Pelicans team that has the 3rd worst defensive rating and allows the 3rd best fg%, 3rd most boards and 6th most assists to opposing teams. To opposing Cs, they’re allowing the 6th most points, most rebounds and the 2nd best fg%. Combining the best fantasy player in the league with a great matchup and awesome O/U seems like a can’t miss proposition. And there are plenty of lower priced players to back him up in this amazing slate!
