After a Sunday with a lone game, the NBA has bombarded us with a 12-game Monday! And we’re here to analyze the early 10-game slate and the night two-game slate! There’s no better place to start than the Nuggets @ Bulls game, as Nikola Jokic is playing in the game with the highest O/U of the slate – 246 points! The Grizzlies @ Knicks game isn’t too far behind, standing at 240.5. And what about the Hawks, who will be without Trae Young and Jalen Johnson against the Wolves? There’s a lot of usage to be distributed there! Oh… And Jimmy Butler is back from suspension, again? How will the NBA’s biggest drama shakeout vs. the Magic? Let’s get right to it!

Nikola Jokic
Salary: $12,000
Position: C
There’s things you can’t escape in life, such as Father Time and Patrick Mahomes being in the Superbowl. And Nikola Jokic being a must play when he’s in the game with the highest O/U of the slate. The Bulls have the 3rd highest pace in the league and allow the 2nd most assists and 2nd most rebounds to opposing teams. On top of this, the Bulls also allow the 4th most points to opposing Cs. The assists and rebounds bonanza that the Bulls allow to other teams may not only help Nikola Jokic, as Russell Westbrook ($6,200) might also benefit from those stats and the fact that the Bulls allow the most assists to opposing PGs. Jokic just posted 39.25 fpts vs. the Wolves, but they are polar opposites to the Bulls. In the last three games that Jokic faced teams that rank top-10 in pace, he posted 74, 72.75 and 99 fpts (vs. the Cavs, Hawks and Kings, respectively).
